United States Coast Guard-approved Credentialing

We offer USCG-approved credentialing courses for both National and STCW endorsements. Several years ago, the USCG separated the two endorsements. Now, to serve on board a US vessel navigating in Inland waters of the US, a mariner need only hold the appropriate National endorsement. To serve on board a US vessel navigating beyond US waters, the mariner must hold both the National (formerly known as “Domestic”) endorsement and an STCW endorsement.

If you’re interested in joining one of our upcoming classes, visit our Calendar page to find our class schedule and contact us at info@crawfordnautical.org to enroll. If there’s a course you’re in need of but don’t see it scheduled, please contact us so we can try to accommodate it. Our course schedule is constantly being updated due to conflicting work schedules among mariners, so we’re more than happy to try to schedule around our student’s interests and needs.
